Elephant Jazz was founded to help combat Sri Lanka’s elephant conservation crisis. Over the past five years, the country has lost more than 1,000 wild elephants, including many young ones due to malnutrition and starvation. By selling clothing and merchandise, Elephant Jazz raises awareness and funds for the Centre for Conservation and Research (CCR), an organization dedicated to studying and mitigating human-elephant conflict. CCR’s approach is based on long-term field research, expanding conservation efforts beyond protected areas to ensure the survival of Sri Lanka’s elephant populations. Through stylish, meaningful apparel, Elephant Jazz inspires people to support wildlife conservation while contributing directly to research and intervention programs. Every purchase helps protect elephants, preserve ecosystems, and foster coexistence between humans and wildlife.
