Genesys Works Chicago is a nonprofit workforce development organization dedicated to transforming the lives of high school students from underserved communities. Through an intensive eight-week professional skills training program, students gain technical, business, and workplace readiness skills that prepare them for corporate environments.Following training, participants are placed in year-long, paid internships with leading companies across Chicago, where they gain real-world experience while continuing their education. The organization also provides individualized college and career coaching, supporting students with post-secondary planning, applications, financial aid guidance, and professional development.By combining skills training, meaningful work experience, and ongoing alumni support, Genesys Works Chicago creates clear pathways to higher education and career advancement.
