Founded in 1976, Nelson Environment Centre is a main social employer committed to sustainability and environmental stewardship in Nelson Tasman. Through a various variety of initiatives spanning resource recovery services, instructional workshops, and community engagement programmes, we empower people and agencies to reduce their environmental footprint and embody sustainable practices. With approximately 30 group of workers and 60 volunteers spread across two places, our center programmes consist of ReUse Shops, E-Product Recycling, Kai Rescue, and Hapori Fruit
